Qbase was recently recruiting for the position of Account Manager to work with our Data Strategy and Data Acquisition team. We required a candidate who is experienced in creating and implementing data-driven marketing solutions and who is also able to identify and convert prospects into new customers.
After an extensive and rigorous recruitment and selection process we identified Rob Watson as the perfect candidate for the role. Rob, who joined Qbase on 13th April 2015, now works with Jane Baddeley in Mark Robinson’s team.
NATURAL BORN SELLER
Rob Watson has over 10 years of experience delivering data-driven marketing solutions to organisations across the globe. Most recently, he was the Sales Director of a direct marketing agency in the North West of England.
Throughout Rob’s career, he has been in a sales and account management environment. In his first role, Rob was a Business Development Manager for a data-driven direct marketing agency and was responsible for identifying new customers and matching their business requirements to the most effective solutions.
Rob’s background made him the number one candidate for the role and has allowed him to hit the ground running. In his first week, before his official induction, Rob visited Qbase head office, collected his business cards and was out setting up meetings at one of Europe’s largest fleet management tradeshows in London.
