Lost amongst all the transfer speculation is Qbase procuring a new high profile signing: former Everton FC man Jim Fantozzi. Jim joins Qbase as Customer Journey Manager and will be working alongside Qbase veteran Rob Jones.
Jim Fantozzi has had an illustrious career having spent the first eight years working for marketing agencies Cheetham Bell and BJL. Next, he transferred to Everton FC in time for the 2007/08 season.
At Everton FC, Jim spent 7 years working as the Marketing Services Manager. Accordingly, he produced a number of highly effective and creative marketing campaigns. Jim also embraces business insight technologies such as FastStats, especially during his time at Everton. Moreover, he was an integral part of a team that brought data-driven marketing to the club. He says:
“Joining Qbase has been fantastic. It is the perfect challenge for me and the ideal next step in my career. I’m certainly looking forward to combining my experience of analytical data and insight with my creative agency background to help our customers drive their marketing strategies and tactical plans. It’s really exciting to consider how much of a positive impact I can have on our customer’s performance.”
COMBINING ANALYTICAL DATA AND CREATIVE MARKETING
Jim Fantozzi’s background made him the number one candidate for the role of Customer Journey Manager. Jim combines analytical data and insight knowledge with a creative agency background. In turn, that makes Jim unique simply because he can look at data through the eyes of a creative marketing professional. Moreover, he can also look at creative marketing campaigns through the eyes of a data analyst.
In essence, Jim can help and guide customers through the process. He’ll become, in essence, the gateway through which the data and marketing teams can understand one another.
“One of the most exciting things about recruiting Jim Fantozzi to the team is the fact that he has a strong agency background and also understands the needs and wants of customers, because he used to be one. The benefits for our customers is enormous. Unlike a lot of marketing and data professionals, Jim has had significant exposure to both sides of the fence so he is a lot more adept at being able to help customers combine analytical data and insight to drive their creative marketing processes.”
– Rob Jones, Director at Qbase
