Qbase are pleased to announce a bronze, third place finish in the ‘Best use of FastStats 2011’ awards for our work with Macmillan Cancer Support and their community fundraising event, the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. The awards were handed out at the Apteco FastStats conference at the Royal Institution of Great Britain in London.
After winning the award in 2010, Qbase have now finished in the top 3 for the past 2 years, and been a finalist for the past 3 years. Qbase Head of Business Insight, Paresh Patel commented: “We were disappointed not to win it two years running, but we are very proud to have come so close. Being in the top 3 in consecutive years really highlights our continued efforts to push the boundaries of what can be achieved with Faststats given the right training and insight”
The award celebrates the effective use of FastStats to drive marketing activities and rewards the user’s ability to bring measurable results to their organisation. After making the shortlist, the top five entries were given a chance to introduce themselves and their entries during an informal networking session. Each of the 230 delegates then had the opportunity to vote for the most impressive entry. The votes were then counted alongside those previously awarded by Apteco judges, the winning entry being the one with the highest combined point’s total.
Covering everything from campaign planning, message testing, in campaign analysis, audience profiling, modelling and selection, with the support of Qbase, FastStats is being used by Macmillan Cancer Support to help them raise over £9.5m through their World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for cancer support services for the 1 in 4 people who are living with or who are affected by cancer.
