Legacy Data Conversion

Qbase is well equipped to accommodate all formats of data when migrating it across databases.

Legacy data integration

Any change in marketing or operational systems, including mergers or acquisitions, will require some conversion of data sources from one platform to another. In less complex situations this can be achieved with ETL tools economically and efficiently.

On a larget scale legacy projects with multiple sources all in different formats and sometimes in un-supported formats going back 20 years or more in origin, require a bespoke service.

Qbase has extensive expereience in both one-time conversion legacy and process legacy projects which supply a continual normalised data feed from the legacy system[s]

All the Qbase work in creating Single Customer View databases requires Legacy data processes and project planning skills, which means we are involved in legacy data work month in month out.

Our ISO9000:2001 certified project management system has a comprehensive Change Management section which ensures that we can amend legacy process models to allow for changes in data supply or new data sources being added to an existing legacy data schema.
